Admission to Grand Valley State University

Thank you for your interest in applying for admission to Grand Valley State University. Please take the time to carefully review our admissions requirements. Grand Valley welcomes qualified students to submit their application for admission to the University.You may apply online, download and submit a paper application or request an application in the mail.  Admissions decisions are selective based on the secondary school record, grades earned as well as courses selected, the personal data submitted on the application, any required standardized test scores, and transcripts from any previous institutions attended. 

Please note that applications for admission must be submitted along with all pertinent information by December 31 for scholarship consideration for students entering the following fall semester.
