Financial Aid

Grand Valley offers an excellent education at a reasonable cost.  In fact, it is the combination of quality and affordability that has earned Grand Valley recognition as one of America's 100 Best College Buys for the 10th year in a row. Financial assistance and advising are available through the Grand Valley Financial Aid Office. Students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by March 1 (for fall enrollment) using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To obtain the printed version of the FAFSA, contact the Financial Aid Office at (616) 331-3234 or (800) 748-0246. You may also apply for financial aid on the Web at www.fafsa.edu.gov.

Financial Aid for Graduate Students

Three types of financial aid are available to degree-seeking graduate students enrolled for at least five credit hours at Grand Valley:

  1. Federal College Work-Study Program: The majority of campus jobs are funded under this program
  2. Student Loans: Federal Direct Student Loans of up to $9,250 per semester are available
