International Student Scholarships

Grand Valley State University offers academic-based competitive scholarships to qualified international applicants. Available to both undergraduate and graduate applicants, these scholarships were established to recognize the high level of academic achievement of students coming to our campus from throughout the world. Recipients are selected in February of each year.

Masters degree applicants who present exceptional academic preparation and performance may be considered for a graduate assistantship, if available from the academic department to which they are applying for admission. Recipients of a Graduate Assistantship are not also eligible for an academic scholarship.

International applicants must apply for admission and submit all required documentation by February 1 to be considered for a scholarship. Scholarships are awarded for Fall entry ONLY.   Please be aware that there are NO additional scholarships available upon arrival at Grand Valley.

Newly admitted international students pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree may be considered for the following scholarships, depending on their qualifications.
