International Student Advisor

The director of international students plays an important role in your Grand Valley “experience”. The director is the main contact who will help you schedule your classes prior to your arrival, arrange for you to be picked up at the airport, and plan a great orientation to help you get used to life in the U.S. and at Grand Valley State University. All of that happens before you even start your classes! 

 

Once you are here, the director will provide assistance related to immigration policies and assists the International Club in planning activities throughout the year. In addition, there are many social activities that allow you to get to know the other international students as well as U.S. students who are interested in international activities. Click here to find out more about services for international students.
